TA loves Celtics. Celtics love TA. He isn't going anywhere. They'll offer him a nice raise, once they get done with Pierce & Ray.

Meanwhile, please work on that J.

Hmm with the way the contracts have gone today...I wouldn't be too surprised if someone ends up overpaying TA as well (that is if C's let him go)

Someone could overpay TA.

The Celtics will not overpay TA.

Is he a full MLE guy? Very possibly given everything else we've seen.

If someone wants to pay that much for him might as well try to work out a sign and trade and get an asset in return.

A full MLE for him is almost as bad as the max for Joe Johnson or the joke of a contract that Drew Gooden got.  I like him, but I'm not sure he can even be the top backup wing on a contender at this point.  That's not MLE money.

Again, this is why some teams suck or are mediocre permanently.

Would rather sign someone like Matt Barnes if the price gets too high. Need Defense at the 3 as much as at the 2 and don't like playing TA at the 3.

unfortunately Barnes sucks. I saw enough in the magic series to be sure.

Based on the list of teams in that link, I don't think we're talking MLE money.

"Dream Lebron Team" would only be looking at minimum. And LA would be out of their minds to throw the MLE at TA.

Milwaukee or Toronto maybe be out of their mind just trying to get into the playoff picture, but LA is in the business of smartly getting championships.

I think teams overpay shooters & bigmen. TA is neither. He'll get a fair deal either here or someplace else.

Raja Bell, maybe?

Aside for the fact that he was one this year I tend to agree.
