Your logic makes no sense to me. We don't have much to trade, and any so called desperate team that does, but doesn't get any FA to come there is not going to say F it and give away their players.

I don't see how Danny can take advantage.

We have the Sheed money, which is actually a pretty awesome thing to have since it won't cost the other team anything. All other teams have to offer is a player with one year or more left on their contract. It is really a unique opportunity.

I agree, but also keep in mind that once all the big free agents are gone, shedding salary wont be as much as a premium as it was before free agency started.

Yeah, this thread makes NO snse. But the ONLY way Danny takes advantage of a team is to HELP them sign a big name. For example, do the heat want to trade Sleepy Pot Head to get further under the cap to sign two big free agents. Do the bulls want to trade deng to get further under the cap.

That is the primary way Danny can use sheed to get us a decent player. But once teams miss out on the big free agents, I see no conceivable way that Danny can take advantage of those teams.
