He expects the Celtics to resign Ray to go next to Lebron.

As we know (from going over this over and over) the Celtics have to renounce both Pierce and Ray to even be in the ball park money wise.

I wouldn't unretire Bill Russell's number if Moses himself wanted to play in it.

Nice thoughts and it could very well work but unfortunately he has the math wrong.

Sigh...

I figure the writing of that article will get a good amount of less-than-informed Celtics fans excited for nothing...

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
That's three kinds of crazy with a dose of irrational. There is no money for LeBron, and players come to Boston to win titles (when we're good)...they don't come to become icons. We ain't sellin what he's buyin.

It sounds really official, right?

I think Bleacher Report is a hub for fans to write opinion based articles. Not much factual behind it, just opinions & entertainment. Kinda like Rush Limbaugh.

Is this a joke?  I'd like to say it's possible, but come on...
Oh well ...

I could think of an even crazier instance.  There was a Lakers article a few years ago when Garnett was still with the Timberwolves.  It created such a frenzy among the Lakers fans that Garnett would indeed opt out of his contract in 2009 and sign with them on a MLE to win a ring.

I remember the rumor of Bynum and some scrubs to Wolves for KG... I don't think they would have even parted ways with any of the Pau Gasol chips... That would have been something.  Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and KG.

Rajon Rondo (8 mill) Nate Robinson (5) Avery Bradley (1)
Ray Allen (8mill) J.J. Reddick (5) Oliver Lafayette (.75)
LeBron James (17) Mo Evans (2)…..Tony Gaffney (.75)
Kevin Garnett (16) Glen Davis (4) Luke Harangody (1)
Kendrick Perkins (5) Zaza Pachulia (4) Juwad Howard (1)

Trade Rasheeds contract and a first rounder to the hawks for zaza pachulia and mo evans.

Resign Ray- 3 year/24 mill

Sign JJ Reddick to the MLE

Pick up Juwan Howard for the vets minimum.

Re-sign Nate with the rest of the money

that team could be legendary

tad bit far fetched?..probably but just think... :o
