LOL no way. I worked for the organization, have had some convos with Presti and no what kind of path he is doing. He doesn't even want to use cap space to sign a fa. He loves the versatility it creates for him to do one sided trades like Morris Peterson and Matt Harpring to get youth and talent like Cole Aldrich and Eric Maynor along with picks.
The Thunder later this summer will lose that space when they re-sign Durant and Green and next year will have to re-sign Westbrook. Therefore they will be more focused on being involved in trades, like as a third team to help facilitate S+T, then looking at top guys. They didn't want David Lee last year at a bargain and they aren't getting anyone else. OKC is the 48th largest market in the country. Due to this they will never be a tax team or a high-spending one with current ownership.
NO WAY!!!! Does Ray Allen go there. James Harden is the starter. So unless Ray wants to go there to be a sixth or seventh man with Thabo, not realistically compete for titles next season, and play for under 4 mill then he will not go there.
This is simply a feel good story because he used to play for the organization in Seattle and Presti and Co. keep things so close to the vest that the ESPNs, etc. have to throw speculative garbage out there because they have no ideas.
