To me, he's one of those guys that you love to hate except if he's on your team, then you absolutely love him. (See Noah, Joakim)
I think he'd be a relatively good fit and would certainly keep the toughness factor going with us.
Yeah, I can think of worse ideas at this point, such as the rotting, fetid corpse of Shaq.,
You honestly think Miller's better than Shaq at this point? I was really unimpressed with Miller in the little I saw of him.
That's a tough call. I think Shaq has more left in the tank, but Miller is the better fit in how he plays.
Shaq really can clog the lane (like he did in PHO). It had IMO a negative impact on Nash and Amare and could have a negative impact on Rondo and KG (hoping KG comes back healthier next season).
Shaq certainly can control the paint/protect the rim better than Miller at this point in their careers...
I don't know...I was hoping we could use Sheed's contract to land us someone better than either.....and then use the MLE on a wing.
Shaq clogs the lane, but no worse than Perk, and he can get us baskets in the half court sets.
I actually think it is worse. Perk doesn't seem to prevent Rondo's penetration.
not that Perk is light on his feet, but he seems to have a good knack for being in the paint at the right time on the offensive end.
Shaq totally knocked Nash's pick and roll plays with Amare out of whack in PHO.
again, though, there is some to good to Shaq in his ability to protect the rim.
overall, I'm hoping for someone better than both Miller and Shaq. I'd actually be a big fan of a Tyson Chandler move. not sure how that would work, but a player like him would be perfect.
