We're going to need either Darko or Haywood, that's for sure.

I'm hoping we can get either Darko or Haywood in a sign and trade, then get Gomes and Miller with the MLE and vet min respectively.

He is probably the best option available at center but  I am not sure I want this crazy guy on our team

Concerning the performance of players from former yugoslavia in NBA appart from Divac and Petrovic; Radja, Kukoc or Stojakovic, they were also quite successful.

This is a joke, right?  He didn't really say that, did he? :o

Haywood's a good pick. As is Miller.

Not interested in investing a dime of LE money in Ryan Gomes. Unless he'll play for the minimum, I have no interest in any members of the 24-win Alumni Association.

No joke at all. It was quite famous a couple of years ago, when Serbia got out of the Eurobasket. I dont speak Serbian but Spanish subtitles say exactly the same thing.

FWIW I forced myself to watch the T-Wolves at the end of last season, just to see Darko in action.  He was solid, especially on defense.

Agree with Toaster that Darko and Hayward are good options.  TP.  Also agree that we should leave Gomes alone.  He does all of the little things that help you lose.  Give Harangody his shot.

No Darko please. Poor shot selections, though those baby hooks went in they were not "accurate" executions. Can't position well underneath the basket especially on the defensive end. Dumars has very good reasons why he gave up on him. I have so much high regard with Dumars' talent find.

I'd take in Shaq, Parakhouski and even Semih over him. Shaq still has one-on-one moves, still strong finisher underneath the basket, rebounds with better positioning and can clog the lane against the likes of Bynum or Pau. Parakhouski is strong, wide-bodied big and has good, steady shooting mechanic, very strong upper body control and good vertical leap from a stationary mode (even better than that of Perk although Perk jumps higher when he gets his first 2 steps). Semih actually is a gamble but he did showed some flashes against Pau in their last World Basketball meeting. He limited Pau's production in both ends of the floor. He too has good size and is strong going to the basket. Plus Parakhouski and Semih will come in cheap knowing for a fact that the team is financially capped.
