'98 Draft.
I remember a hot, summer day played pickup basketball at the courts down the street from me with a bunch of buddies. We had a radio boombox with us and flipped it over to the draft.
Pierce started dropping and I remember thinking there's no way he'll fall to us at #10. I think it was around pick #6 when Dallas took Traylor that I started to seriously envision a scenario of Pierce falling to us.
I just remember being ecstatic and a sense of "How the heck did he fall that far?" when the Celtics drafted him. We all went nuts.
