11 hours away and I am a complete wreck right now.  The last time I felt this amount of nerves was driving to the hospital after my wife's water broke.  It is only 7AM in the west right now and I see no way whatsoever how I can complete any work today.  Can't even listen to any sports talk today.

Someone hold me  :P

my left arn is numb and it feels like someone is standing on my chest. Kidding, mostly.

Tell you, its a good thing Ray will take a clutch free throw and not me...I'd miss it.

I cant work either. Luckily I have a meeting from 1-4 today that will just drag the day on even longer. From 5:30 to 9 I will be searching for any distraction possible.

I had to leave work early on Tuesday because of the nerves - I've got keys to a building with a gym - I went by myself to shoot baskets and work up a good sweat. It helped. I may have to do it again today. Or not. Because I'm kind of superstitious right now.  Oh man....this is going to be a long day...

By the way, I just threw up a little bit in my mouth because I'm so nervous.

ya know... i hate to sound pessimistic, but I really don't think Boston has a chance of winning this game.   I don't want to be a buzz-kill or anything... Obviously I'll be rooting like crazy for Boston and I'm excited for the game... but deep down I just don't think Boston has a chance at all to beat the Lakers at home.   Somehow, that makes me less nervous for the game.  A loss seems inevitable.    If somehow this game is close in the 4th quarter, i'll start hyperventilating at the chance to steal the title.  But I kinda think this game will go a lot like game 6, unfortunately.  I think we'll get down 15 out of the gate and the rest will just be pure frustration.

Really hope I'm wrong.

I hear breathing into a paper bag helps with hyperventilating. I hope that helps.

Settle down, guys.  You are starting to sound like the Laker fans.

I am as calm as a summer's morning.

If we play our game and keep our composure, we will win tonight. Got that?  We will win tonight.

Don't feel bad ... it's just one more stone on the mountain of adversity that the Celtics have to overcome ... I love it, because the greater the odds against them, the better they'll play, and the more people they'll prove wrong. ;)

Yeah I mean... I want to believe this is an even matchup, but I think home court against Kobe and the Lakers is just way too much to overcome right now.  Trust me... I'll be screaming and cheering in the first couple minutes... but I feel like I'm going through the motions.  It sadly feels like a game where we'll get down 15 early... and I'll be sulking and waiting for a run that never comes.  Maybe it's the stink from Game 6 lingering... not sure.  But I'm not nearly as hyped up for this game as I should be.
