Ugh. Miserable. But cheers to this team that played their hearts out. We had a chance, that is all you can ask. Does it hurt to lose like this? Of course. But, what are you going to do....

Cheers to this Celtics team that gave us a great run. I'm p'd off the way this ended. An Artest three? Really? That many ft's in the 4th? Eh, these things happen. We lost. It is going to sting...

....But thank you to The Celtics. You played hard. You gave it your all. thank you for a great run.

Some fans that are a little younger don't understand the Laker hatred.I was a kid in 80's and I also cried in 87 when Magic hit the hook yadda yadda...Some new Laker haters were born tonight. Welcome aboard.

Wow, that's it!  Well said, and welcome to that uncomfortable hate, but that certain knowledge that what you hate represents all that is wrong in this world.

Thanks for a great year, Celtics.  Tough loss to swallow, and classy words from Ray Allen.
"Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin' back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?""

I hated the Lakers already but I'm only in my early 20's so I never got to see the series in the 80's...now my Laker hate is at in all time level.

And as I say this Kobe's press conference comes up on my tv...just punch me in the face now.

Welp, looks like I gotta leave LA for a few weeks. Hopefully I can find a job in Boston and not have to come back... but for some reason I really doubt it :'(

Can this please be the last year Van Gundy, Mark Jackon, and Mike Breen broadcast anything?  I can't take them anymore.

They left it all on the court and that's all you can ask.  Nothing to be ashamed of, really. They lost to an excellent team, did everything they possibly could to win and it just didn't work out. And they came pretty darned close. If this game had been in Boston, they'd have won.

It hurts because it may be awhile before this team is in a position to win a title again.  It's VERY difficult to do and when you have a good chance to do it, to not do it is tough.

Celtics played well, wished they would have boxed out more. The refs called a good first three quarters, but were pretty miserable in the fourth, definitely helped LA a lot.
