we just had nothing left. the physically draining games with cleveland and orlando finally caught up to us. no gas left in the tank in that crucial 6 minutes in the 3rd and 4th quarter where this game was won. [dang]. perk would have helped.

Margin of error was razor thin without Perk.  We needed a cushion at the end but frittered away our lead too soon -- I think we were spent too.

Gotta give props to the boys in Green...they fought hard and built a 13 point lead.

Looking dismal, Kobe, Artest and Gasol came up with some huge plays.

Enjoy the off-season fellas and thanks for having me.

16 going on 17.

Don't under stand calling the game so tight at the end - way to ruin another one - but great effort by the C's. So many chances and near misses. Needed some scoring down the stretch. Perhaps the bench could have given us something; but gave it their all.

Hey, thanks all you thread folks for hanging out all year.  It's nice to have you with me even if I'm just watching at home.  And truly, thanks to you I've learned more about the game.  Props to all!

I’d like to also make reference to the similarities between Rondo and DJ once again.

That shot at the end of the game was unbelievable. I’m still excited about this kid.

just imagine the refs being this good for the regular seasons, the playoffs and the finals games 1-6. david stern is the worst commissioner in sports history.

i cried. yes, my girlfriend had to console me. i remember the mercer-walker days (i'm only 23) and grew up with pierce. you attach to these guys emotionally and it's just extremely hard when they lose. i question myself as to why i attach myself to sports teams/players, but ultimately in the end it's totally worth it. they'll be back next year.. they'll be back next year.

Doc just said Rasheed considering retirement.

literally broke out into tears.

Rasheed’s performance tonight was beautiful. Glad one of my favorite players will be retiring a Celtic.

  • Thank you Eddie!
I want to cry now after reading the Sheed retirement thread.  I feel like I know what hell feels like after this.

Some fans that are a little younger don't understand the Laker hatred.I was a kid in 80's and I also cried in 87 when Magic hit the hook yadda yadda...Some new Laker haters were born tonight. Welcome aboard.
