Okay, that was fine, they stopped the Lakers from taking the lead and put themselves in a solid position to win this game.

Anyone's game here in the fourth. I would have taken that at the start of the night.
Yup.

Win the quarter boys.

  • GOT IT!!!
Both teams are tired. A fresh bench may be the difference.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
cmon Ray. We need you in the 4th.

hate to break it to you, but he aint showin up.

First of all, if we could trust this board on when celtics would show up, we'd have been out in the first round of the playoffs.

Second, celts can't win without ray making shots. So we need him to make some buckets, regardless if it seems probable or not.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I feel a heartbreaking coming :(

I feel the momentum slowly turning in the Lakers favor.

Our starters got a breather first.  I'm looking at this as a tie game, 12 minutes left.  We CANNOT leave this up to an errant call or bad bounce.  We have to keep a lead, nurture it and extend it.

Ray Allen has no-showed yet another game on offense, the biggest of his career.

Bye bye Ray. Have a nice life somewhere else.
I don't think he's going anywhere.  those earlier dreams of a 5 year/15 mill per year contract are evaporating with this series.  he'll be back in green but collecting a lot less green next year.

Ray has been unreal on Kobe. He has to stay in to keep playing defense and he WILL hit a couple of big shots.

Agreed
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Kobe Bryant's 11 rebounds + quality defense has helped offset his struggles offensively (5-20 FGA)

Ray is 1-9 with 4 turnovers.   How about it Ray -- catch fire!! Let's go.  Need the offense to spark up as it looks like Lakers will continue to get 2nd chances.

What I hate about the offense is the hero ball. Once they went to the one pass and let the guy go one on one on his man, the Celtics started to let the lead slowly slip. Move the rock and push the rock.
