We always had to win 4, doesn't matter if they win 3 or 2.  Keep your chin up!

We basically could not keep our composure on offense tonight. Will have to do a much better job thursday or there will be another blow out.

Previous games DO NOT carry over with the 2010 Playoff Boston Celtics. Just remember that. Big losses have always been followed with extra, extra focused bouncebacks.

its over. done. in the past. at this point, with one game left in the season? not even going to think about it. on to game 7. one game for all the marbles. no reason to dwell. we got blown out earlier in the playoffs and came back to win the next game both times.

this game is history. over.

on to the next game.

This was the worst game the Celtics have played in the post-season since Game 3 against the Cavs.  I don't expect this to happen again.

Indeed, if the Celtics were going to lose tonight, I think this is probably the best way possible.  We've seen before that sometimes this team needs to get embarrassed to get them on track.

The C's will need a Game-4-against-Cleveland kind of performance in Game 7 in order to win.

That's true. But how do you enter a Finals game one win from the championship unfocused in the first place. They acted like they want no part of another banner.

The Celtics have the ability to win Game 7. With or without Perk. They just have to play their game. They looked lost, dazed, confused, and lazy.

I'm sure everyone will agree that the team in green on that floor tonight were not the Celtics we saw throughout these finals. I honestly didn't even recognize them. I was baffled.

If this embarrassing loss is not motivation enough to come into Staples on Thursday and TAKE Game 7? Then I don't know what is.

And Shelden Williams should never play again. EVER. EVER!!

I'm optimistic. We're tough. We won't go down without a fight. I can assure you a game like this won't repeat itself.

I honestly have no clue how to explain tonight. I didn't see a lack of effort. If I had to pin it on something, I'd say they were not expecting the crowd to be as into it as they were and the Lakers to actually be an energetic team. They trapped Pierce pick and rolls and the team didn't look ready to handle that and it led to ugly turnovers and good looks on the other end.

I feel confident that Doc can make some adjustments to counter. I think we saw a bit of that in the second half with different looking sets, but they needed a flawless half to come back. We missed some great looks to start the second half and the refs bailed out some bad Laker offense in the 3rd quarter to keep the lead well out of reach.

Rondo is the key to a banner, imo. You saw in the replays what their strategy was regarding Rondo and 5/15(with 2 of the 5 fg's coming in garbage time) isn't cutting it. I have faith in ya, Rajon.

To me, it looked like the Celtics were forcing it early on.  They were sloppy and not playing within themselves.  There's been all this talk about how the Celtics need to score in transition, but they also need to be in control.  They looked out of control from the get-go in this game.  Once Perk went down, things fell apart pretty quickly.

As my friend put it, everybody in green was playing like Tony Allen (Bad Tony) tonight - trying to do too much on their own, making poor decisions, and constantly on the edge of losing control of themselves and the ball.

-Rondo needs to learn how to shoot. His inability to hit a free throw or a midrange shot consistently is baffling after he supposedly practiced tons in the offseason, how can you not improve after all the repetition.

-Shelden Williams once again gave us nothing, and some how made more boneheaded plays, Please get rid of him...

-The refs must have gotten an order from the higher ups to stop calling fouls, Paul Pierce seems to be the most effected, he's not getting the calls he's used to getting and taking away a huge portion of his game.

-Nate Robinson after having such a good run had a horrible game decision wise today. Maybe he gave up on the game and that's why, but it's not an encouraging sign seeing him putting up all those bad shots.

-Tony Allen's jumpshot seems to be even worse than Rondo's which is pretty hard to do.

-BBD showed us today why he will never be a starter in this league. He is an excellent backup big but he just has too many holes to be a solid starter.

-Ray Allen needs to get more touches, I'm always surprised that his shot totals are as high as they are, it always seems like he never gets enough shots.

-Rondo has dissapeared for the last few games, he better be the all star Rondo that we were accustomed to in the other series...

@!#!@#!@ so frustrated with this loss....

Nthing went right tonight but we have not lost two in a row to the Lakers. So I figure it will be our turn Thursday by sheer probability.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Remember this. The Lakers have won each first game at a venue. We have won all the rest.

That means we win game 7.

Very simple.

One thing about this team is that given even the smallest amount of comfort or breathing room, they lay an egg. Game 4 in Miami, game 3 vs Cleveland, games 4 and 5 against Orlando, game 3 in this series. It's almost as if they need to be in a complete must-win situation to play well. However they have always re-focused and bounced back.

Tonight went terribly, but I have no doubt they will come ready for game 7. Who will win? Who knows. But it will be a close game. As long as the Celtics lay it all out there, they can hold their head high..

I agree completely. They threw some horrible passes in the half court offense.
