I would have to think that Bynum is going to have a tough time rebounding on such a quick turnaround from Game 5 to Game 6, especially after the long plane ride from east to west.  Has anyone heard how he is feeling and if his injury has improved or regressed since Game 5?

I give the kid the warrior award but a torn meniscus doesn't get better with rest, massage or braces. He needs surgery.

Key injuries: Celtics - no injuries to report.
Lakers - Andrew Bynum is listed probable, but his knee is obviously a concern and he might be limited.  Lamar Odom is listed probable with the flu

I'd have a hard time believing that the Lakers sit either of those guys facing elimination. But if they do, the Celtics better not dare exhale on account of it.

Many times we have seen key players out and their teams still win because the other players step up and the opposing team exhales. Not necessarily against the Celtics but league wide.

What a time to get the flu for Odom.   Often this is the mistakenly used term for a stomach ailment.  Since such viruses are easily passed in the context of basketball games, I sure do hope this doesn't prove to have an impact on Game 6 or 7.

Bynum is like Odom to me.  He farts and breaks his leg.

Maybe Odom got the rest of the Lakers sick on the plane ride.  :D

best case scenario ;D Can you imagine how Odom would go down in history? "Hey, remember the time when Odom got the whole lakers team sick and cost them the NBA Finals?" Awesome

Just heard that Odom supposedly is suffering from Sinusitis, not a stomach flu. Sinusitis sucks if he really does have it. I have suffered through it several times and it is a nightmare.

I want Odom and Bynum to be fully healthy tonight. I hope Bynum has a strong double-double. This way, no one in LA LA land can make excuses when we win.

I think Pau has a yeast infection.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I just got over sinusitis a few weeks ago. It was pretty crappy. That said, I also played basketball during that time and I didn't feel like it affected my play much, if it all. From a basketball impact, I'd say stomach flu would take a greater toll on a player than sinusitis.

Well described. Its not likely he has the best immune system with his self described diet. MIA on account of being a twinky addicted goodies freak = awesome!

I think Andrew Bynum has the potential to be a very solid NBA Center.  But he will not get to where he needs to be until he learns to stop chowing down on twinkies, doritos, ring-dings, twizzlers, fritoes, you-hoos, corn-nuts, Dr. Pepper, corn dogs, captain crunch, crunch & munch, fruit roll ups, pork rinds, snickers, rieces pieces, cotton candy, whoppers, slim jims, onion rings, and laughy taffy.
