I was more nervous in rounds two and three. In game 5, I was just enjoying it. I hope I'll have that same feeling tonight.

I'm with you.  We've put ourselves in a position to win it. We just have to get it done now.  It won't be easy.

Tonight is like the final exam. You spend so much time preparing. You just need to trust your gut and you will do fine. I feel the same about the Celtics tonight. As Dennis Green once said "We are who we thought they were..." This team is ready. The Big 3 and the supporting cast has been waiting for this moment since they walked off the court last year against Orlando. Put the books away and just enjoy tonight. We don't know when the Celtics will get back here so take in each moment! I am confident tonight is the night we grab the Larry O'Brien trophy from out hated rivals and hang Banner 18!

Doc was using the test metaphor the other night.  Something along the lines of "This is like taking a test where we know all of the answers.  All we have to do is go out and execute."

Sounds simple enough!

BRING IT HOME!
Yup

How can he win if the Lakers go down?

At his best in this series (that third quarter) his team fell further behind.

He didn't change the game, he kept his team from falling away.

I am nervous that the following happens:

-Perk & Rasheed both get bogus technicals called against them.
-Lakers shoot 50 free throws, compared to the Celtics 18 FTs
-Ray Allen still doesn't make a 3 pointer since Game 2.

Nah really though, I am nervous, but more about how the Celtics execute.  I think they smell blood and are going in for the kill.

L.A. has a lot of x factors.

-Bynum's knee and production
-Artest's mental problems
-Odom's mental problems
-Kobe's attitude issues
-Gasol's mental makeup (less of an issue for sure)

Seems unlikely to me that all of these thing will come together on one night.

Our guys may not play well every game, but at least they show up.

I am a bit on edge myself..tonight should be a big, celebrating night for us!

Yesterday, I had a training session to try and relive some pent up anxiety about our team..today I cant move my right arm due to the workout! LOL..A bit too much I guess- I had to shave with my left hand today due to the muscle strain.

Today I feel like a robot trying to occupy my time while working but my mind and soul are filled with green colored dreams right now

Can't wait for this game to begin!

I'll echo some other comments, I feel strangely calm. The Celtics are ready. If the Lakers beat them the next couple games, so be it, they earned it. But we have two opportunities and if we execute, we have this..

Reality Check.
However, that logic would have held true for game six in 2008. And look what happened there. The Celtics won that game by like four touchdowns worth of points.

Hahahaha, that's brilliant! TP for you sir!

I only get nervous when my team has something to lose.  I was remarkably calm until the C's built a 10 point lead in the 3rd quarter of game 5.  Then, I could taste victory and the nerves came on like gangbusters. Had to go for a walk during the late 3rd/early 4th.  I'm a wreck today.  But, I guess that means the C's are close!  Go C's!
