I'm nervous and excited. Nervous because I feel like we could let this one slip away and it could come back to bite us in game 7.

Excited because there is a good chance we will be crowned champions once again tonight and celebrating on the Lakers' homecourt.

I just hope the refs are a non factor. The Lakers will be extra motivated and desperate, we will have to stomatch their early punches and then strike back.

The good thing when the other team is playing an elimination game is that if you get a 10 point lead or so, it can lead her to the brink and to her collapse, especially with the fans really worried in the stands.

Go Celtics, let's win it tonight!!
I actually envy you, Drucci!

I loved getting up at night and quietly screaming my lungs out at 6 or 7 in the morning. It was awesome, winning it, and the night thing actually added to it.

Now I'm going to watch the game at one of the many local sports pubs here, called Cheers. Great atmosphere, mainly more Celtics than Lakers, plus the Laker fans are loud, but the Celtics fans are proud, if that makes any sense :) We're the classy ones here :D

Anyway, it's all different, but I really am going to miss the nightly thing :D

Yeah, well, I've got the bait of going to bed at 6 am lately but that's ok because the Celtics are winning and I'm in holidays!

I would love to watch C's games with other fans in a pub too, I've never done it but I don't think there is a single pub in Paris which broadcasts Celtics (or NBA for that matter) games due to the time difference and the lack of interest for this sports in France.

However, I kind of understand your envy, it would simply be awesome to win it tonight and to celebrate in my room at 6 am, going to sleep with a big, big smile on my face and the great feeling of "we've done it!!".

Let's do it tonight C's!! 8)

For the record, if they win it tonight, I'm going to stay up all night posting and celebrating with whoever's online.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

I guess I should be feeling pretty good right now---But, my nerves are on edge...I have a bad feeling something highly unusual will happen in Game 6--We're on the brink of Pushing our Championship Lead over the Lakers to 3...or The Lakers can get to within 1...If we can somehow Win---we'll survive the Kobe era....if Not, they might tie us next season.

Lots of questions:

Will Rondo ATTACK and be aggressive?

Will Pierce remain hot--wanting a 2nd Finals MVP?

How are the Refs gonna call Game 6?

Can Perk and Sheed avoid a potential Devastating 7th Tech?

Can the Bench perform once again?

Will Ray ever hit another 3 pointer?

The Lakers look ready to crack--we just have to keep the pressure on...I've been thinking all along--that we picked a Good year to be Great on the road---Now, let's finish it off tomorrow!.....ugh...Will I be able to sleep tonight?

Oddly enough, I'm at the other end of the spectrum -- totally calm right now.  I've been anxious for the other games but for some reason I'm very calm for this game.  I just have this sense that the C's will come out and take care of business tonight.  No lackluster efforts.  No brain farts on offense or defense.  No nightmare shooting droughts.  no lack of hustle.  I really think this ends tonight and C's get it by about 15.

More excited than nervous.  I think the Celts have established that they can beat the Lakers if they execute the plan.  They've beaten them 3 of the last 4.  I truly believe they're the better team with Bynum's condition.  And more importantly I think the Lakers believe the Celtics are the better team at this point too.

Celts win going away tonight!
Yup

Can I believe this and still be nervous too?

If both teams are playing their best basketball I think the Celtics are the better team.  What concerns me is the Celtics tendancy to shoot themselves in the foot.  Unforced turnovers, missed rebounds and missed free throws can cost you a game and these are all things the Celtics struggle with.  I should also throw closing out quarters strong in there.  On Sunday they were up 12 with three minutes to go and I was still nervous.  Rightfully so.  The lakers were two missed Artest free throws away from making it a one possession game.

Please Celtics, wrap up the series in six.

I totally can feel both of you, guys!! I live in Greece and since mid-April I sleep at about 6.00 am every single day!! but I love it cuz the C's have given a run I wont ever forget and I hope it ends with banner #18...
I'm gonna watch the game with a friend, he's a Kings' fan and he supports the C's in the finals!! if we win it all tonight, I might take no sleep for a couple of days I think... :P

I can't explain it, but I feel the same way. Every other game was a ton of nerves for me. Being a fan is an emotional experience. So worth it.

Not nervous at all.  Anxious, but not nervous.  I just can't see the players on LA, other than Kobe obviously, being able to handle this moment.
