Last game we made 75% of our layups. This series has been a cruel study of the law of averages. Hopefully that means next game is the one where we'll go bonkers on the boards.

I really like that thought.

shelden still looks really bad out there.  lost with the ball in his hand on O and on D.

Can only hope, and I mean hope not expect or anticipate, that this beating knocks some sense into this team.  starters again came out playing like crap and the bench didn't do anything to help the cause

I feel badly for saying this, but Shelden Williams really is not an NBA-caliber player.

Shelden WIlliams is more worthless than the peel of the banana I just ate.
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

People wanted Doc to give him Rasheed Wallace's minutes. *shrug*

Wwo. This is the most "theaterish" I ever felt when I watched a game. I'm not even mad... just kind of vaguely disgusted. Sure, we've sucked, and sure, the Lakers have been really on point, but the aiding and abetting of the refs has just been atrocious to watch. I'm just gonna say this, not explain anything about it: Paul Pierce has shot no freethrows. That's unbelievable, and really, really unfair.

Anyone who talks about the refs tonight is ridiculous. Celtics were not in this game from the middle of the first quarter on. Refs had NOTHING to do with it. NOTHING.

yeah, other than a couple of PP drives i have no beef with the refs tonight.

Which was my main beef, the one thing I cited specifically.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

This is an embarrassing loss. They should all be ashamed of the way they played tonight...absolutely no hustle, no ambition, no drive.

I'm not even on the court and I'm embarrassed. My Laker fan friends are torturing me right now.

If this doesn't fuel them for a win?? Nothing will. That's the good that I see coming out of this.

I pray Perk gets better.

The Celtics team we'll see in Game 7 will be the same one that we saw in Game 5.  That's one thing you can take to the bank.

Whether that will be enough to win is another thing, but we'll get the Celtics A game on Thursday.

We have been brutal tonight. I can't think of one guy that has played well.

I guess the good thing is, we looked about this bad in Game 1, and certainly in Game 3 against Cleveland.  We came back big after each bad loss.

Blowout losses tend to have a silver lining for us.  Had we lost by 6 or 7, they might not have the same motivation as the media frenzy will impress on them after tonight's loss.  They'll come out hungry in Game 7, whether that will be enough, I don't know.
