Does anyone have the number of missed layups for tonight?

I`m guessing it´s in the low fourties.

Ha according to Chris Forsberg it's 8, but that was at the half or third so I'd say about 15. :-X

Last game we made 75% of our layups. This series has been a cruel study of the law of averages. Hopefully that means next game is the one where we'll go bonkers on the boards.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Anyone who talks about the refs tonight is ridiculous. Celtics were not in this game from the middle of the first quarter on. Refs had NOTHING to do with it. NOTHING.
Refs have nothing to do with the fact we fell down 20. They have everything to do with us not going closer than 17 in the third quarter.

Which of course doesn't mean we didn't suck, or that we would have somehow miraculously won the game if they actually figured out the same play has to be called the same way on both ends. But I think Rondo_is_better absolutely nailed how I felt about the game in the third quarter.

Difficult for me to envision us winning  game 7.

Lakers fans were saying this about the Lakers winning Game 6. I know we can win Game 7.

This is an absolute embarrassment and the Zenmaster is keeping his starters in to punish the Celts.

and let him, the Celtics deserve to be punished.
Anything is possible!!!

oh man, I don't care if Ray feels there was contact, he was too wide open shooting that ball to miss that layup

75% is a god-awful conversion rate for layups, by the way.

Kobe is hogging the ball in a 25+ blowout win, you can tell the guy wants to score his 30 points. Pathetic.

Wwo. This is the most "theaterish" I ever felt when I watched a game. I'm not even mad... just kind of vaguely disgusted. Sure, we've sucked, and sure, the Lakers have been really on point, but the aiding and abetting of the refs has just been atrocious to watch. I'm just gonna say this, not explain anything about it: Paul Pierce has shot no freethrows. That's unbelievable, and really, really unfair.

Anyone who talks about the refs tonight is ridiculous. Celtics were not in this game from the middle of the first quarter on. Refs had NOTHING to do with it. NOTHING.

How bout you grab your sack and say "you're ridiculous" instead of using an impersonal pronoun just not to get in trouble. Check what I posted right after this on the "Move over Kings and Lakers" thread. You're like that screaming republican donkey in Family Guy that says "sorry, Kevin Bacon wasn't in Footloose, you lose". Instead of refusing to take off the blinders I'm acknowledging the affect the refs have had on the feel of the game for me. Not blaming them for the loss or whatever. Rebounding and defense, combined with sloppy and rushed offensive execution. Far more important than the refs.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I don't know that game 7 has anything to do with game 6. These games have been impossible to predict.
I understand that. But the setting will be the same. They will be at home and we can certainly expect them to come out with the same energy. If we don't match it it will be another blow out
