I've decided to add more general stuff to the list of songs I play on my acoustic. I know a ton of Saves The Day, Taking back Sunday, Get up kids and more stuff from that genre of music but not everyone knows that stuff. For the upcoming weekends and summer festivities, what do you suggest I learn?

Never heard of it, just looked it up though. Good stuff. It might be a bit obscure though.

Written by Eric Anderson and sung by either him or Judy Collins.  Song had a profound effect on me...hence, my name...45 years later.  Master Po sent me a video of them singing it together which  I had never heard.  I cried for two days!  ha ha ha...memories...

You throw the guitar into the fire. ;)
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

There are a ton of quality Neil Young songs great for acoustic guitar.  Neil's been touring this year with just him and an acoustic.  Would love to have caught a show.

Then of course there's Stephen Stills

Any info on where the shows are?  Is he still touring?

Neil Young favorites are Sugar Mountain and Down by the River.

I  played the guitar for years and we  had a lot of fun with it.  Keep playing.  Those who don't like it don't have to listen.  As long as you and the people with you are having fun, that is all that matters!   If you can sing, sing, and if you can't, dance!

I cannot recall the artist, but I know there was a song called "Your Cheating Heart". Play that one for me, please.

That one would reflect my opinion on the officiating so far in this series ;D.
