He's had a very rough two games but he'll get his confidence going on Boston. 1-1 baby!

Boston?  KG showed up to own the boards down the stretch.  I think he's getting there!   :) :) :)

At least he hit a big shot in the last few minutes of the game.

I believe it put them up 5 if memory serves.  (Might have been 3)

I thought he had some pretty nice passes earlier in the game as well.  I imagine it was hard for him to get in any sort of rhythm when he was in foul trouble all game. (I still question whether he even had 2 legit fouls the entire game)

I am not expecting KG to have an absolutely outstanding game...but I really do want him to be a lot more effective.

Btw in Game 3 I hope KG can stay out of foul trouble and get into some offensive rhythm.

I'm not worried. I think he played fine at the end. Early fouls cost him, he should get more leeway on his own court.

I do think Doc should stagger things so KG plays more with Odom. He's capable of forcing Odom into an outside threat and is clearly having problems with Gasol.

I hope so, because we need him.  In this game, he was our third best PF, behind Rasheed and BBD.

I just want him to play hard and smart. Just try to stay in front of Gasol and make it tough. We've proven we can win when he plays badly. We just need him to play well. But hey, if he played fantastic i promise I would not complain.

I just think it's time to realize this is who KG is now.  Tonight he was abused on the boards most of the game, not into the game defensively or offensively.  Rasheed was the better option tonight.  There's a rumor that KG got a shot in his knee before the Cleveland series which is why he played so well and now he's back to the guy we saw all season long.  It was frustrating watching him play tonight

  • Rondo = Good
I'll take 15 points and 5 rebounds with a few assists and a steal or a block.

I'll be happy if he isn't outplayed by Rasheed / Baby (assuming they aren't atrocious).

He played pretty bad for most of the game but I think it's more a confidence thing than anything. Once he feeds off that Celtic crowd energy he'll feel it.

I don't think this is the KG we saw this season, or especially for most of the playoffs thus far.  He's a much better player than he's showed in these two games.

KG doesn't have to be a star against the Lakers. The guys who needs to go off is whoever Fisher is covering.

So long as KG is doing his part in the team defense and setting good screens, I'm fine.

If the shot rumor is true, can he have another shot now? I dont want him to do it if it will cause long term health problems, but dont really understand that rumor. Can you elaborate?

Well, he certainly did little to dispel Gasol's assessment.

I don't know. He is a step behind on almost everything. Even in tonight's game he was picking up a lot of fouls trying to react after someone got the step on him. Fortunately, the refs didn't call the last couple fouls on him or he would have been gone early in the 4th. That one crucial play where he held Pau in place so that Rondo could get an uncontested layup was huge.

I don't question his heart or desire to win, but he has not inspired enough confidence these entire playoffs in terms of his physical abilities.
