Wow...what a relief...I really wanted this to be a series and not see the Celts go down 2-0 like chumps.  An amazingly strong willed team they are.

Yup

Only if BBD comes out and plays real bad or in a blowout. Hopefully the latter… I'd like to see him notch 7-8 minutes the next 3 games in blowout C wins!

TP's guys. Great win.

Sheldon gave away 6 points at the end of the half. Barring similar foul trouble I can't see him getting much run after how he played tonight.

Now, as for guys who haven't played much Nate was outstanding in his minutes. Really kept us in in tonight.

I'd like to see Scal get those 7-8 minutes in place of Shelden.

Not that. Two bad passes. A silly foul on Artest. Butter hands with the rebound that he took away from Rondo which led to a Lakers fastbreak... and all in the span of a few minutes, and on. Just bad.

Same. He isn't dressing though from what I recall.

How about up by 35 and they BOTH get 7-8. I'd love for Scal to see some floor time. Class act.

They could both be useful in separate instances.  Shelden is useful when the bigs get in foul trouble.  And I think Scal could be a useful backup at the 3.  Doesn't appeart it'll happen as Scal was in street clothes again.  However, of all the playoff series, he might actually be the most useful here.

Haha, I was thinking about starting a thread with the same title as I was logging on.

Phew.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Phew is right. My heart is pounding. Pure relief.

A side note, but... Has David Stern lost it? Why does is he using the NBA Finals to showcase Shelden Williams, Nate Robinson, Shannon Brown and Jordan Farmar?

Please no more Scal at the 3. His strength is in being a stretch 4... for the most part he is quite a bit of a liability at the 3.

Phew about sums it up.  Happy to see them win, but a bit too close for my tastes given Ray's extraordinary performance.
