Odds Shelden Williams plays again?

Only if BBD comes out and plays real bad or in a blowout. Hopefully the latter… I'd like to see him notch 7-8 minutes the next 3 games in blowout C wins!

I'd like to see Scal get those 7-8 minutes in place of Shelden.

How about up by 35 and they BOTH get 7-8. I'd love for Scal to see some floor time. Class act.

They could both be useful in separate instances.  Shelden is useful when the bigs get in foul trouble.  And I think Scal could be a useful backup at the 3.  Doesn't appeart it'll happen as Scal was in street clothes again.  However, of all the playoff series, he might actually be the most useful here.

Please no more Scal at the 3. His strength is in being a stretch 4... for the most part he is quite a bit of a liability at the 3.

I'm certainly not pulling heavily for him.  And given the fact that TA didn't look horrible tonight, I'd probably drop my case.  However, in a series like this, he could actually be useful.  Artest and Odom are about as slow as power forwards (as Odom often is one).  Scal could keep up with them, while stretching the floor more than TA can.

Amidst some of my negativism I did state if Rondo takes control we'll win. A triple double did it. Hail Ray Ray.

Now the War is on and we have home court. Lets close em out.

My heart was beating a million miles a minute towards the end there.  Kinda of an ugly win but a win still.

Anyone else concerned about KG's performance?  :(

We need a good steady contribution from KG to win this series. We can't do it without him. I still think he'll improve in the next games.

No such thing as an ugly win in the Finals - IN LA!

I loved how the Celts responded after the 1st couple of minutes of the 2nd half when LA had retaken the lead.  No panic.  The game was incredibly close from there on until the Celts pulled away in the last couple of minutes.

They hung in there and grinded it out.
Yup

Indeed.  That was a thing of beauty!

Very concerned. Two weak performances in a row.

I am very worried about how much KG is able to contribute in the rest of the series.

I believe KG will be Fine. The refs are keying on him, and trying to make Gasol, while an extremely talented player, out to be better than he is.

But the Great Thing about this Team of Ours - we had so mcuh going against us this game - the Tall Timber of LA...Kobe Bryant...Refs calling the game one-sided..Phil Jackson playing the mental games...Paul being off...

And we still won. True Celtics Mystique - Finding a Way to Win when it seems impossible!

Looked good end of game. Just think fouls came too fast... wish Doc hadn't pulled him in the first. He needs to hit his long J and when that's not working go get something in post - cannot have Kobe playing off Rondo and neither big scoring.
