Huge win.

Got the split. Game 1 was ugly but all you can ask is to get the split in the first two and we did that. Excellent.

Defense was great after the first five minutes. Our troubles came from lack of rebounding and turnovers. The D was good throughout. Ray in the first half, Rondo in the second. Baby can be infuriating at times but his hustle was huge. Rondo played with heart.

PP didn't have his best game, clearly, but he played strong D throughout. KG closed out the game well.

Bad reffing on both sides. Worse for us I'd say but we got through it. The bigman foul trouble really plagued us.

I am ecstatic. Got the split.

Let the TP party begin!

What a great, great win. LA up by 3 in the middle of the 4th -- I did not think we could do it.

Wow. Wow!  Love this team.

Baby, Sheed, Rondo...

...but Ray Allen is my hero
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Wow - this was truly Rondo's game in crunch time.  One more baby step toward superstardom.

The 3 game homestand is the biggest week for this franchise in probably 26 years.  Gotta take 2 out of 3 at least, hopefully get the sweep and get BANNER 18!!!

16-4 run to close this puppy out! Turned mamba into a jump shooter. Ray and Rondo rocked early, some key play from Nate, BBD and Tony to get em back in and tough team D down the stretch. Wouldnt win a beauty pagaent but we'' take it!

That's the kind of game championship teams win. Great job by the C's.

Disapointing loss.

Incredible shooting by Ray Allen.

Good game Celtics, we'll see what happens in Boston.

Time to go have some whiskey and forget this loss.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Gutsy win. The Lakers are defending champs for a reason--they're easily the best team the C's have seen this year...and yet the Celts just stole home court from them.

TP's for everyone.

Well, that was no sweat, no stress at all.  :o

We got the split.

Who wants a TP?

Good thing we went on that run at the end.  I had no fingernails left!

NEVER FORGET.

Seriously though, cheers for being man enough to show up after a loss.  If you're a fan of basketball in general, take some solace from the fact that you're probably watching one of the greatest Finals in the last 20 years.

I did not watch the game as I have work. But I woke up at 4 am and could not sleep so I followed the box score on NBA Mobile. We are back in this. Yay!
