Meh that's nothing. I just read this http://www.amazon.com/C-C-Pyles-Amazing-Coast-Coast/dp/1594863199 about a cross country race from LA to NYC in 1928. 3,500 miles over 84 days. Great read and it makes Boston to NYC seem like nothing.
