According to ESPN LA  http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=5241219  Phil has to bribe the Lakers by paying them for taking charges.   That's pretty sad! 

The Los Angeles Lakers have never been known as a team that takes offensive charges. They are trying to change that. Last series, Phil Jackson called his big men "thin-chested" as a way of goading them into standing strong and taking a hit, and the team has been offering financial incentive -- $50 per charge.


"To motivate us in a way to take charges and getting away with it," explained Sasha Vujacic.


And Vujacic says that the way the Celtics players play, the Lakers believe they could be in line to make some extra cash.

Hopefully Stern and the officials can read....Hopefully Stern and the officials grow some testicles and actually address the flopping issue in this series.  Call technicals as was promised for flopping on either side.

Call the series by the rulebook and see who wins.

Yeah, when I first saw this, my first thought was "Oh boy, the Lakers are in trouble if they need $50 as motivation to take a charge in the NBA Finals."

Unless Kobe continues to play out of his mind (which will be several degrees of difficulty tougher against Boston), I just don't think the Lakers team stands a chance.
