I think it will be important to insure that Lamar never gets into a groove in these playoffs. He's a head-case, but when he gets on a role, he makes the Lakers very tough to beat. We really don't have anyone who matches up well with him.

It might not be a bad idea to have Scalabrine use up his fouls making sure Odom starts off the game frustrated. Then, we can go to a more standard rotation. Unless you think Baby can stay with Odom.

As for the rest of the matchups, I think Boston either has an advantage or is equal.

I agree on both of your points but I also think Lamar has a tendency to disappear at crucial times as well tho

I'm not that worried about the Lamar Odom match-up.  The Lakers don't feature him that much in their offense, so his speed advantage over Baby/Sheed won't be exploited fully, IMHO.  He's much more of an elite garbage player, crashing the glass hard, cutting hard and driving off of kick-outs.  We survived Udonis Haslem and Anderson Varejao, so I hope we can do the same with Lamar.  I just hope he isn't hitting 3s against us.

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams

Odom's the Laker's second most talented player. Fortunately for us, he's lazy and seldom rises to the challenge.

Honestly, I don't know why we're so worried about Gasol and Bynum. Our bigs do quite well against 'em.

Let's hope that the Kardashian sisters keep Lamar's mind occupied for the series and that he doesn't turn in a near MVP performance for any more than a single game.
