Typical Celtics....wow

I wouldn't go that far.  Typical regular season Celtics, maybe.

It's been about as bad a game as could be expected, though.

Okay, that pretty much does it. Bitter end to the third quarter.

I would like to see C's try to build some momentum here in the fourth quarter to bring into Game Two.

Pathetic effort tonight...hope they come out firing in game 2, because they cannot afford to lose both games in LA.

Play the scrubs for the whole fourth quarter.

No one in our rotation deserves to see the floor in the 4th quarter.

Keep Sheed and Perk off the court rest of way so they don't do something stupid.

Ray Allen has only managed 15 minutes tonight due to foul trouble.

Rondo and Pierce have both played 33 of the first 36 minutes.

Disgusting. I never thought we would get out-muscled by the lakers. No one is boxing out, they are making every shot they throw up, and to top it off we can't even breath w/o a whistle.

They won't shot like this next game and we should be better on d and offense.

However if rondo is not going to be rondo this series, then we are cooked.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

PJ Brown was smart with his physical play/fouls. He did it during and after rebounds, hacking Gasol on every attempted rebound, and never got called for it.

PJ made it physical and put off Gasol without giving away a lot of dumb fouls.

I like Nate's intensity right now. We need that.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I see we're back to the regular season CelticsBlog game threads, too! :)

Seven game series, folks, and this team hasn't quit.

Nice little run here.

15 point lead with 9 minutes remaining ...

Get it to 10 by the six minute mark and this could get interesting.

Doc is right. That is a carry on PP. It';s also a carry whenever Kobe does it.

Let's get a run here. Show what we're made of. I ain't calling this over just yet. Maybe I'm just a smiley happy go lucky guy but this looks like a run doubters ;)

We're fighting back. Even if we end up losing, it's still shameful to see people still doubting this team...
