Wouldn't it be cool in the Finals if ABC could provide three feeds. One national feed with national announcers and two home feeds with home announcing teams, one for each team, that could be broadcast on ABCFamily and ESPN3.

Same advertising and same video feed on all three networks, just three announcing teams. That way we could listen to Mike and Tommy.

Did Wilbon just say by winning a second title he would join along with all the other greats and become a Laker Legend...like up in the rafters? Did he really just say that?

Ha. I caught that. He certainly did. I like Wilbon but he has had a few goofs in this pre-game already. He works much better with Kornheiser than this crew...largely because of Stu Scott who is one of my most hated broadcasters if not my number one. Please get rid of the guy. He is horrible. No one cares about you Stu. You are not more important than the story you are covering.

This is Kobe Kobe Kobe coverage. Come on. There is another team out there ESPN.

Ok, ranting about that because I need to vent...I am way way way past ready for this to start.

I see the ABC/ESPN Laker/Kobe lovefest is in full effect. Over/under on the amount of times they say Kobe in the half hour before the game 240. That's the word Kobe being said once every 15 seconds. Sound about right?

Jon Barry says that Pau Gasol is the best number 2 option in the league. Does that make Ray and Rondo the best number 3 and number 4 options in the league?

All-Righty - This is going to be "The Greatest" , as I'm prepared to witness one hella series, full of "OMG's" as well as the emotional peaks and valleys of a locked-in old time (read: aged) Celtics fan, here !

Always interesting to follow the CB game thread though, I'll usually only post to emote in positive awe of particular plays etc... So, you folks do what you do because it does help with my emersion into the game, though my posting "not so much"...lol

Go Celtics !!!  8)

Nice set-up on the thread, Fl , TP  ;)

Well, he picked us to win, so I can't necessarily hate on his opinion too much.  Pau is a heck of a #2 option.

At least he picked The C's. He has some love for the team that drafted him. Though I wouldn't hold it against him if he had some hate for them for trading him for Alaa Abdelnaby...

So nervous... I think it's might be time for a few beers.

Good idea.  Though I think it was Nickagneta who suggested in the past--successfully--that Scotch brings good luck to the Celtics.

If he was any kind of Lakers fan he would have understood.

I understand that they have the announcers audio feed up and the crowd noise drowned out but even still, that place sounds quiet.
