And will remind myself and all of you on a regular basis. Regardless of what happens in the finals, I owe the Celtics and all of you true green diehards an apology for doubting and for not knowing a thing about basketball.

GO CELTS!

No need to apologize ... but a TP for having the character and stones to do so. You're one of US ... Celtics fans, and that's really all that matters. ;)

TP Vinnie, never say that! You know a ton about bball and I personally love reading your posts precisely because of that. I also just like you in general.

DOn't have to apologize for doubting this team.  I thought we'd get swept by the Heat in round 1.  Call it losing faith... I was just basing it on what I had seen all year.  An old washed up team that had lost chemistry and forgot how to play defense.  This entire season has been nuts.  It's completely unpredictable. I think Bill Simmons compared it to "LOST"... I just hope the ending doesn't suck as bad.

It's all good, vinnie.

Some points of this season were certainly ugly, so I don't blame any of our fans.

And vinnie - if it makes you feel any better, the ESPN Yahoos couldn't get it right, either ;).

They all wrote us off, except for Tim Legler and a few others.

Haha, if you ever told me during the season that Vinnie would create such a thread... I wouldn't have believed it. But I believed the Celtics would turn it around for the playoffs!

TP Vinnie and let's hope you understanding of the NBA gets worse after we win the Finals. ;)

I wouldn't go as far to say you know nothing about the NBA but, it really wasn't that hard to see a team with this much talent going a roll.

Being a fan means sticking with your team through the good and bad.  I can't for the life of me see how people picked Miami (lol).  That's more of being overly pessimistic more than anything, for effect.  It's one thing when bloggers do it for page views but, I don't understand fans that makes those types of predictions.

TP for owning up though.

Oh and Lost finale was outstanding. Every single minute of it.

We can all make mistakes. But you showed us that you had the stones to admit it and it takes a real man to do that. TP.

You should apply at ESPN. Apparently bball knowledge is not needed to become an analyst(I'm looking at you Adonde).
Back to wanting Joe fired.
