T-wolves badly want Evan Turner and now when 76ers are not so high about Turner, Kahn will probably offer #4+Big Al for #2+ Brand. Minnesota really want Turner so they are prepared to take Elton Brand's big contract. And it will be a great trade for 76ers because Brand will not be there plus with #4 they can select Favors or Cousins who they like. they will make this trade because is great for them but in minny are desperate to have Turner so they wwill ofer a lot

I don't know...giving up big Al AND taking Brand's contract is a heck of a lot to give up just to move up 2 spots.

Sad part is if there was no lottery, they would have been in position to take Turner without giving up anything or taking back a bad contract.

One more reason I hate the lottery.  It doesn't reward good teams.  It doesn't reward bad teams.

It only rewards lucky teams.

The 76ers front office made mistakes.  Now, they get to clean those mistakes out because they were lucky.

well i read it on twolves blog. i don't know if it is true but they think Turner is amazing and will fit the triangle offense much better than johnson and now 76ers like  Favors more than Turner so they can use that to trade Brand. that's what i read

Rumor or speculation.

I haven't seen this anywhere else.

I posted that same idea in a thread a week ago.
