Wow.

After the Laker win last night ESPN seemed to go all Lakers all the time all the rest of the night.

C's win the Eastern Conference title in dominating fashion and they are already showing extensive Lakers footage of the night beofre's game and footage of an interview with Phil Jackson.

This is why I hate ESPN.

It's like Jerry Buss signs their paychecks sometimes.

I know. And they have Byron Scott on to discuss our game  and make it a point to remind us at the end how much he hates the Celtics. At least they're talking about a team left in the playoffs which is better than the coverage after we beat the Cavs I guess.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Very frustrating.  However, the good thing is it gives Doc yet another opportunity to play the respect card.

Is there any doubt in your mind we'll be the expert-decreed underdog for the Finals?

Dwight seems to be calling his teammates out for their effort.  I wonder who he's talking about.

Maybe he's referring to that Superman fella who didn't show up in Games 1 and 3.

As soon as I saw that fraud Byron Scott in his cheap jacket I changed the channel. America's a great country where a guy like that can still find work.

I know people will inevitably want to "be classy" and compliment Orlando; but honestly, I don't think they're a very good team.  I had Boston beating them in 5 and I'm honestly a little upset they went past 4.

Howard is good and has potential to be great, but that's about it.  Rashard Lewis is grossly overpaid and is questionable as a 3rd option on a title team, let alone the 2nd option that his contract demands he should be.  Carter, while good, once again reaffirmed the fact that he's a perennial loser not on the same level as Pierce and Allen.  And while Nelson is good, he's more or less a rich man's Nate Robinson.  He'd be a hell of a shooting guard if he was 6-6; but he's not, so he'll always be a limited point guard who can shoot, but is a subpar playmaker.

While they won't do it, they should blow this team up.  I don't see this nucleus ever being more than they are now.

I like this Paul and Ray presser. I don't think I've seen them do one together. Hope KG and Rondo are coming up.

LOL LOL I didn't even notice the jacket. I was taken aback by his presence in the studio.
