There was definitely a lot of bad basketball, but those games will happen. Orlando is a quality team let's not forget about that. When two quality teams grind for a 7 game serious there's bound to be some sloppy play. Just keep in mind that we have the best personnel to match up with them and should be able to put them away very soon. I don't see another game like this from the Green this Wednesday. And now that we're back on the road again, this team will be able to "feed off the opposing team's homecourt", thriving under hostile environments like they did all season and in the playoffs.
"I'm from the bottom, I understand what it's like to have and to not have. My perception on giving is to put yourself in those people's shoes and go from there. So that's what I did. " - The One and Only KG

Celtics played  a thoroughly horrible game in all phases.  The Magic are nothing special here. They are what they are and made a couple of more shots tonight and we had a couple of more turnovers. I know we can play a lot better and we will. I am not sure if the Magic are capable of playing better.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Agreed.

Magic played their best game this series, and it still took them to overtime to win this.

We'll be back.

Can't believe we lost another game at home.

That's 2 Losses on our own floor in the playoffs.

We lost once at home in the 2008 Championship year.

It was only fitting the Celtics lost once at home this series after the Magic lost TWICE at home.

Right now, I'm not worried. We win Game 5, we basically beat the Magic on their floor three times to advance to the NBA Finals. That'd be amazing to win on the road 3 times in the same series this after we won all of 3 road games in our banner run two years ago.

Win one game to get to the finals & we get this?

I'm a little shocked that when you are at home with a three game lead and you are one game, one win away from playing for what you dream about your entire career...

That we cannot come up with a win.

It's kind of mind boggling. How can you "not" win this game?

At home?

Major head scratcher. One of things I really hate about this team. They are full of suprises, one of the most unpredictable teams I've ever watched play.

Well, on the plus side, they're better on the road than at home.  I guess something about the crowd being against them gets them locked in and ready to close out.  Or maybe it just ensures that they don't get complacent.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Come on, now, it was simply an off night. Every team has them. I agree it was disappointing but not totally unexpected. They are human and we can't get down on them for losing one after winning 6 or 7 in a row, or should I say sweeping Orlando and demolishing the Cavs.
Keep believing. We're going to be the Champs this year!! :D

I like the optimism! Thanks and Yeah, they're gone have some down games, you guys are both right.

I just find it hard with it being right there to take and go to the finals, that they throw up an egg...

Alright I'm back!

Yeah this loss in retrospect should not be surprising given how unpredictable the season has been. This team just loves to keep fans guessing. We expect a 6 or 7 game series and they go up 3-0. Then lose at home just as we start getting excited about their consistency and will probably get their act together as soon as we start getting antsy again.

How did this team manage to shoot 42% from the field in this game?

It seemed we missed every shot, every important shot down the stretch of the 4th Quarter and OT.

Aside from the two 3's by Ray and the 2 drives by Pierce, we couldn't hit anything.

-Rondo got his stuff rejected by Howard (Rondo post up boggles the mind, Howard is just waiting in the wings...salivating).

-KG missed a variety of shots: jumpers, fadeaways, layups.

-Bench (despite Big Baby's solid contributions, was awful overall). If JJ Reddick can match your bench by himself, then you fail!
