Yeah, really, lol! It's a shame, though, that the head coach is always the first head to roll in such situations ... he was not the problem in Cleveland, and a very good coach. Too bad, but it actually took a bit longer than I expected.

Not surprising.

Funny however that a coach with two 60+ wins can get the axe. I don't think you would find many other examples of this.

Still when you leave the trophy cabinet bone dry, you have to expect some consequence.

Yeah, it will be interesting. Boston's dismantling of the cavs on the court may have setup their dismantlement off the court as well. Lebron looks to be gone as well and that means that the entire team, which was largely constructed to support him, will be gone as well.

The cavs rosters' raison d'é·tat was to support lebron. Without lebron the cavs are not even a sure-fire playoff team I believe.

Brown was a decent coach given a very good but flawed team. Too bad for him but it is the first step in blowing up the team.

Maybe Danny can attend the upcoming fire sale in Cleveland and come away with some good role players.

Not suprising at all man. Can you say PHIL JACKSON. Doesn't matter who coaches them we will dominate them anyway scrubbs. Man I have so much anger in my heart with the Cavs, Magic, and Faker fans talking man Lets Take this one for RED!!!

Brown was decent, but maybe not a championship level coach.  We like to think it's a players league, but the great players usually don't win unless they have a great coach.  Go down the list of championship coaches and you will see a lot of Poppovich, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Larry Brown, etc.  There aren't many Mike Brown types on this list.  The Cavs need a next level coach to reach the next level.

Mosio that is so true man, what all those coaches have that Brown didn't have was a formula to win in the playoffs. A well drawn out plan.

I always disliked Brown, I think of him as a bad "crucial moments" coach and Cavs weren't gonna do much damage with him against these Celtics, then San Antonio.

And one more thing they still don't have the right core players around LBJ. They only solve half of the problem.

Well it was deserved, he is not a good coach.  Is Ferry next?  His team he put together was obviously not poised to win the nba championship.  Our Mr Ainge has a playoff roster put together of team orientated players, either role players, stars, vets or scrubs that made Cleveland look lost.

I've always thought he was just terrible.

As great an individual talent as Lebron is, he needed a coach that could/would maintain team basketball.  Celtic green-blooded Paul Silas tried that early in Lebron's career, suggesting after one game, when asked "what more can Lebron do?", that he could try to play defense.  Obviously, he was fired.

Frankly, I thought the team did a decent job bringing in talent this year, but Brown did a terrible job integrating that talent with Lebron in a team offense.

Not sure how true this is about Ferry.  The Cavs roster was set up so they could play several styles of basketball.  Quick and athletic  if need be or slow and traditional.  It's just too bad Brown refused to do anything outside fo slow and traditional
