My theory on Rondo:

Frustrated and did not want to come out of the game when he did? Therefore headed back to the Lroom to cool off... Thoughts? Does anyone think he's injured?

Pretty much everything going right for the Magic and they're only up by 4.  I'll take it.  I expect a big second half from Rondo (and to some extent Ray and KG).

Magic have made some nice adjustments by speeding up the pace, running Nelson off multiple screens and not feeding Howard in the post.  C's have looked terrible on defense as well.  Dumb fouls and poor, slow rotations plagued them in the first half.

Figured Orlando would come out with fire.  It is tough to put away a good team, and it is real tough to sweep one.  No surprise Orlando brought their A game. So that is the bright side.  I do not think Orlando is mentally tough and we can break their back by making some defensive adjustments and going on an early run.

Despite my desire to have a repeat of game 3, realistically it wasn't going to happen. Hopefully we weathered Orlando's best shot and we have them where we want them.

ugh.  I know it's fun to watch, but I want nothing to do with these halftime Big Three puff pieces.  You'd think they already won the series.  I dont like how Orlando has already been counted out.

I hate it.  Bad Karma.

seriously, i hate the halftime wait.

Rondo couldn't wait to get in the locker room and watch the Big Three documentary on TV.

OK, let's quit screwing around now. Two quarters to go.

We need a strong 3rd quarter effort. Let's go Celtics!
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Boston's winning this game. Orlando's lead is too fragile. Just like their psyche.
love the confidence but I'll feel better if I see the C's come out with a purpose after the half -- particularly Rondo.  It's almost like he's playing as though he believes the hype this game.  He'll do much better and help the team more if he stays within himself tonight and just hustles and plays smart not cocky basketball

question: i got distracted as rondo left the game. Did he take a hit or fall or something?? or was it really as mysterious as he just suddenly left?

Celtics say Rondo went back to the locker room b4 half with muscle spasms. Got some extra stretching in. Expected to start the 3Q.
