  • It's not hard to work hard.
Celtics must take away Howard's dunks and the open corner 3's. They can win this.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

We're probably playing our worst game this series by a mile so far, and we're only down 4 at the half.

For now, that's a victory.

Perfect timing, since dinner is ready.  :D

worst half since game 3 vs the cavs. lucky to be down 4 at this point. i think orlando has done about the best they can and boston can play a ton better

Why is Rondo going to the locker room?

ESPN has 3 announcers and a sideline reporter, you'd think someone might find out.

Rondo had about 6 bad plays in a row then got yanked. Maybe Doc sent him to cool off?
that was my thinking as well -- would explain why he was hiding behind the towel.  Rondo was getting too much into his occasional me-against-the-world mode

No word as of yet, but perhaps it will deem a mention at halftime.

I'll take being down four all things considered.
Need to defend better and stay out of foul trouble.

Oh and when JVG was complaining about TNT taking off Cold Case and that ti made his mom made, buy her the DVDs and shut up.

Why did Rondo decide to take tonight off?....WALK WALK WALK

Are they EVER gonna call a lane violation on Gortat??....he is in the paint like 3 seconds before the ball is released....Worst I've ever seen-!!

:-\ I was hoping to tune in to see a big lead but down 4 at the half isn't bad. I imagine Orlando came out swinging harder than they did the past 3 games. Avoiding a sweep in the ECF with HCA has to be a powerful motivating tool.

Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Pierce and KG with 19 and 10 points, respectively, and KG has eight boards as well. Box score looks like those two are carrying the team.

Both sides are playing well. I think the C's have another level of energy/hustle they can tap into in this one. Orlando is getting more quick starts to their offense. They have control of the tempo. Gotta reverse that.

We're down just 4. Gotta lay down the hammer in the 3rd! GO Celtics!!

We are lucky to down by only 4 - could have been much worse.

Desperate Magic team maxing out their capabilities.

Sluggish Celtics team with foul trouble and no point guard.

Magic up 4.

I sense a 2nd half run by the Celtics.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I`m not concerned, we´ll win this game.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
