Pierce and KG with 19 and 10 points, respectively, and KG has eight boards as well. Box score looks like those two are carrying the team.

Pierce especially.

Big three playing well. I say let TA or Marquis bring it up. Till Rondo sorts things out. Hope it is nothing serious.

Nice pass by Nate and I hope he can prove me wrong; but not sure he can compete at this level.

magic had a chance to blow it open...and they couldn't...even with boston playing poorly....boston needs to come out with the jump in the second half and knock them out

Rondo needs to play with better energy and move the ball better. He's getting tangled up too often when a pick is set also.

Nice to see Robinson in there, but I don't like him against Nelson.

Pierce needs to keep doing what he's doing. Barnes can't defend him, keep giving him the ball and stop ignoring him.

Garnett looks to have the J going, let's feed him in the post.

Ray was completely ignored in the 2nd quarter, and he was looking good out there. Let's also try to find him.

Doc needs to stop putting Finley in there. By inserting him, some of our defensive and offensive advantages are being taken away. And some defensive liabilities show up, like Pierce on Redick... it makes no sense.

On the bright side, the Sox are up in their game...against Tampa Bay.  ;)

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
The Magic have done a great job taking Rondo out of this one. Pick after pick after pick so he's almost always late on whatever Nelson is doing. Nelson being aggressive is making it hard not to foul, and the lob is almost always there if a help defender leaves Howard. Rondo has to do better get around the picks and we need him in the game to run our offense as well.

Magic finally realized they need to stop force feeding Dwight in the post so often. Hopefully we can adjust and get the real Rajon Rondo back for the second half.

Couple of CHEAP fouls on Jameer to end this half--and give them extra points.

It's clear that this game is different than any of the previous 3.  Question is, can Boston either eek out a win by hanging close and getting the breaks at the end -- or can they completely change the tone of the game after the break.  After watching this lacklusterter half, I really hope the C's can put it away tonight.  Back to Orlando with the Magic gaining some confidence is not good.  Obviously, the C's will still be in the driver's seat, but it would be so much nicer to be done tonight.

Big effort in the seond half should do it.
