With Brett Favre back in play, ESPN finally has something else to talk about other than LeBron.

Favre just had an ankle surgery, which seems to suggest that he'll come back to play next year. If all goes well of course.

I really hope Favre decides to make his announcement on whether he will return at midnight on June 30th...

LOL TP. That would be the best thing ever. It'll be split screen all day because there won't be enough airtime to go around.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I'd rather hear LeBron and Kobe over Favre. I hate hate hate that dude and have heard that name way too many times over the last couple years.

Same goes for Tiger.

Obviously in previous years, most notably two seasons ago preceding the trade to the jets, Favre has handled the offseason poorly. However, this year you cant really fault anything he has done. He has more or less not said a word and has just been giving his body time to recover. In fact, he probably has told the vikings things privately. The fact that he had surgery is not something he did to create a stir. I like watching him play and think it is pretty cool a 40 year old qb can play in the NFL and be effective.
