They are in position to grab a C.

So do they trade Jefferson or Love?

I think Rambis will push to have Jefferson traded because he's an idiot and wants to run a triangle offense.  Love is a better fit for that offense, Jefferson is the better player.  You coach to your players, if you don't have the players to run a triangle offense(and they don't) you don't run it.  They do have a chance though to get Wesley Johnson or Al-Farouq Aminu as well though if they want to take a wing, but unfortunately for them, this is a draft with a lot of size at the top of the draft.  Also, if we could trade Perk for the #4 pick, I'd like Greg Monroe, the guy has great skills.
do it

People love the prospect of creating a new team that could have magical proportions they don't realize how lucky we are. We are a championship elite squad, even with the slight decline in our 3 big stars.

We should be happy with that and not want to move Perk or Rondo for anything as they are proven players within a championship system.

I could see Minny trading up.  Maybe all three picks for the #2 so they can get Turner.  He's the guy they NEED.  Getting Cousins, Favors or Johnson would still get them nice pieces, but Turner would be a good piece with Big Al and Rubio.  Also having Flynn and Love as tradeable assets could get them a SF or C in this same draft.  Either way, Sota is in a good position to improve without giving up young assets just by trading for need instead of stockpiling talent that plays the same position.

Could trading Rubio get them another top 5 pick?

My question is: Would they trade Jefferson, the #4 pick and Jonny Flynn for Granger, the #10 pick and TJ Ford?

I think this is a deal both teams should consider.

I think they need to keep the pick.  I think Cousins will be there for them and he has the chance to be the C they need.

If I were them, I would take Favors, and trade Al for a wing (Deng?).  I think Favors has the potential to be an exceptional defender, and he would fit well next to Love.  Neither of them is a true center, but I think they would compliment each other well on the defensive end, with Favors length and mobility, and Love's strength and intelligence.  Plus, on a young team like that, Cousins would be a huge risk.

But chances are Favors will be gone.

I guess they could always try to trade up.  Jefferson and the 1st to the Nets for their first, Lee and someone else.

And both Favors and Love like to play in the high post.

Take Granger now, then add a defensive oriented 5 at the 10th pick in the draft. Ford can play some point for a year until Rubio arrives or is traded for another solid player.

I can't see Favors making it past both Philly and NJ. I don't know the exact order but Wall, Turner and favors are your top 3 players this year. I really think Wesley Johnson is the guy they take and honestly, I think he's the 4th best player in this draft and they should be very happy with him.

Drafting Cousins and trading either Love or Jefferson is a backward move in my book. Cousins has the potential to be awesome or awful long term. I think he's the biggest gamble in the top 8 of the draft. Johnson is the player they need and who will probably best fit that team.

I had forgotten Minnesota dropped down to the 4th pick,  You guys are right that Favors will likely be gone.

I agree that Johnson will probably be the pick, if they don't trade it.  I am not sold on him myself, but at that point, I don't think there are any sure things left, and he fits with what they are trying to do better than anyone else.

I don't think so, I'd have to believe that most execs realize that there's no way that Rubio is ever coming to Minnesota so they can really lowball them.

Maybe if we could draft Demarcus Cousins but I guess Im not as high on him.

If you could guarantee me that Cousins work ethic would match Perk's then yes in a heartbeat I would do that.

No Doubt.  But I can pretty much guarantee you it wont

I don't know about that.  He still has good trade value whether he's ever going to Minnesota or not.  Maybe not worth a top 5 pick this year but I do think 6-10.

Assume Wall, Turner and Favors are gone 1-3.  The Wolves take Cousins with the 4th pick.  Would a team rather have Rubio than Wesley Johnson?  Or Babbitt?  If I'm Minnesota I'd consider trading Rubio for Johnson.  Wouldn't Sacramento rather have Rubio at the point than getting Johnson to play the 3 where they already have Casspi and Nocioni?
