Got lucky there with Howard's fourth. And just like that four on Howard.
You can read the flagrant rules here:
http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_12.html?nav=ArticleListBasically, flagrant one: If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul--penalty (1) will be assessed.
flagrant two: If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpret-ed to be unnecessary and excessive, a flagrant foul--penalty (2) will be assessed.
I fail to see how what Howard did is severe enough to be ejected. A hard flagrant one. Plain as day to me. Again, it can't be compared to KG's ejection. That was an elbow on a dead ball, non basketball play which the league considers a punch. The equivalent here, as I said earlier, is Rondo/Brad Miller. A play on which Rondo didn't even get a flagrant.
And enough getting bogged down in that talk....RONDO!!!
