Is there any chance of us signing Reddick this summer?  He'd be a nice fit on this team.

I like him too. But if we resign TA, that gives us three guards. Only really have room for one more in the rotation. And I think we need a legit backup PG for that spot.

He and Ray are too similar to have on the same team, and I'd rather have Ray. You need to be able to give teams a different look (the way Tony puts pressure on the other team with his drives).
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

tell me how this blow by Howard is different than what KG did in the Miami series. I'm all ears.

I think it has to do with one being in the flow of play and the other being extra-curricular. That's my guess, anyway.

Definitely not an ejection or suspension worthy foul by Howard, but a punk move non the less.

Play defense, get KG going and keep feeding Pierce, he's hungry!

I don't think it should be ejection-worthy, but he grabbed Pierce's head and followed through to the ground.  That's usually classified as "unnecessary and excessive" which as the rule is interpreted is often a Flagrant 2.

Not gonna happen tonight though, we'll see what the league does tomorrow.  Meanwhile, I agree that [pee]ing Pierce off is not in Orlando's best interests.

Great game so far both ways - let's hope we can finish them off down the stretch.

I don't think that's ejection worthy.  It's a good, hard playoff foul.  Flagrant, yes, but nobody should be ejected for it.

How is it different than how KG got suspeended agaisnt Miami?? Hand/arms to the face! that is a "punch" and an automatic suspension. Heck guys HERE were saying KG's was automatic. That is an automatic suspension!

There is a huge difference between a play like that and an elbow in a scrum. To the league an elbow equals a punch. Dwight got suspended last year for one of those (my opinions on whether he should have? I say no but that is another story). This was a hard foul, a flagrant one. The right call. This was more like Rondo/Brad Miller, and Rondo didn't even get a flagrant on that one. I just don't understand those that see that as an ejection for Howard. And he didn't use his elbow at all.

Much as I hated that DH foul (Booo, I say), I'm not 100% sure it was sheer intent to harm (F2). More like a raw uncontrolled power lashing out in frustration (hence F1)--oth I dont have the rule book in front of me here.

Howard's been a punk for a long time. He talks all that gospel I'm good boy bs, but then takes cheap shots.

I agree with Wahz, I don't see how what he just did is different from what KG did to Richardson except that he connected better and added an eye gouge. Dirty.
