Can anyone figure out any trade scenarios where we could get Bosh? I've brought this up before around the trade deadline, and some people liked the idea and others didn't. Obviously our circumstances are different now in that we have no large expiring to offer in Ray.

One possible scenario on which Toronto bites could involve Perk. Perk plus two future #1s for Bosh or Bosh and Belinelli for Perk and Ray (also S&T).

This gives Toronto the toughness that they need in Perk. Ray does or doesn't have to be included. I know that without Perk, our matchups with DHoward would suffer, but for two years a center signed with the MLE and Sheed and Baby could handle that, and that's only the real nightmare matchup we would face without Perk. The other bigs that give us trouble (Bogut, et al are more mobile and can be handled with a combo of KG and Bosh. We then go forward with a core of RR, KB and a great wing (#19) and a scorer if we get Belinelli.

Anybody see any other way we could get Bosh?

  • Rondo = Good
No, I don't see a scenario in which it would happen.  So many other teams can offer better packages for Sign-and-Trades than we can.

I think it would be very difficult to do without including Rondo, and frankly I would consider something that brought us Bosh even for Rondo.

I don't think it makes a lot of sense without another team, maybe San An.

Bosh and Jack to Boston
Rondo and R. Jefferson to Toronto
Sheed, Evans, and Perkins to San Antonio
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner
