Wow Mo Williams has an ETO and player option? Fat chance that he leaves early on either of those. Boobie Gibson's contract is also concerning, especially with Delonte's expiring so much sooner.

If LeBron leaves they'll need to find a way to move Boobie and AV and rebuild. I don't think anyone is taking Jamison's or William's contract.

not surprised that the Cavs quit on their coach....they don't want his BS rotations around anymore

hoping Lebron stays but if he leaves for Chicago to play with Rose, Noah and Bosh (they have the cap space) I wouldn't blame him

Shocked at how terrible Jamison was and scared of his contract

Glad that I have more important things in my life than basketball
Dude I can only give you one TP for coming on here tonight, but you literally deserve about 100 more. You are one class act MMac.

Thanks....I appeciate it

  • Basketball is Newtonian Physics
Start the "We love you Lebron" campaign.

Get businesses (that need him) start offering him money to stay.

...  going to DraftExpress and scouting 2011 draft prospects.

Cavs are going to be bad next year.  Like, they're going to make the Browns look like World Champions.  No cap space.  Jamison (how the hell was this guy a 20 point scorer?) and Mo Williams as their best players.  Sideshow Bob and Boobie Gibson on the books for several more seasons, on two of the most ridiculous contract extensions.

What do they have to build around, JJ Hickson?

The Cavs team, without LeBron, is in absolute no-man's land.  No franchise player.  Couple of OK players, but no one who has any trade value.  Old.  Bereft of young talent.

Time to start rooting for the Browns!

- praying they fire the coach and GM even if Lebron stays so that someone competent has a chance to try and find LBJ a second star to support him.

-scared that we owe Boobie, Jamison and Mo that much money for that many years.

-slowly sobering up and ignoring basketball news for the next 6 months (it will only cause pain).

- realizing Lebron is overhyped, sending emails to Sprite and Nike to tell them if they keep using him in commercials I won't buy their stuff, and lowering my expectations. He's not Kobe or Duncan and probably won't ever be.

- starting to wonder about the feasability of trading Lebron, Jamison, and Mo Willians for Rondo, Tony Allen, Pierce, Perk, Glen Davis, and 3 unprotected firsts and 2nd rounders.

If I am a Cavs fan I'm happy Lebron is possibly leaving Cleve
If I am a Cavs fan I'm happy I wont have to hear about Lebron every time I turn on espn.
If I am a Cavs fan I'm happy I wont have to hear about elbowgate anymore
If I am a Cavs fan I'm happy we have Mike Brown.
If I am a Cavs fan I'm happy Lebron cant handle pressure.

Whoops I misunderstand the thread.

If I am a Cavs fan.........Ive got nothing to be happy about hahaha.

I can't being to tell you how wrong this is.  And don't give me the Kobe wins championships BS either.  He needed young Shaq, Gasol and Phil Jackson to win.

Lebron has been relying on Mike Brown.

I'm not saying I think Mike Brown is great or anything, but I do think if Duncan had had Mike Brown then he'd still have all 4 rings and we're talking about Mike Brown as one of the best coaches in the game.

Same thing with Phil Jackson. MJ and Kobe made him, not the other way around.

I don't buy that Mo Williams and Jamison are scrubs and that Lebron's bench is crud.

I think if you trade Kobe for Lebron straight up the Cavs instantly get better and the Lakers instantly get worse or at least stay the same.

Kobe has rarely lost to teams he's not supposed to. Lebron is making a career of it
