Meh, I think you guys are looking too much into it. He's been quite active in this series, particularly defensively and that was true last night also.
He's currently playing a different role for us than we initially intended for him. Do we wish he was more than he currently is? Sure, but at the end of the day we're using him in a different role, and in that role he's been doing quite well.
He only took one shot last night, and that was to end the half when Rondo gave him the ball when he shouldn't have when he was way out the 3 point line after he provided a pick for Rondo.
What this tells me is that they weren't looking him at the post, where he's been fighting for position pretty much all series, and all series very few times has the ball gone to him. Which is fine in some regards since he played poorly during the season, but you can only be as productive as the opportunities you're given.
But he's been quite active defensively. Isn't that what you guys have been crying all season long? He's never been a rebounding machine, so let's not start complaining about that, though he's been active keeping balls alive... and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes is not bad for him. But he's been doing a good job defensively, and we don't need to take that away from him just so we can make ANOTHER thread about how disappointed we're with Sheed based on our expectations of him coming into the season.
