Lots and lots of Nike indeed.

When do you guys replace your shoes? When they start falling apart? And also, how long do you generally use your shoes, and do you use them outdoor as well?

I've had many pairs over the years, but one pair I've had for nearly a decade I made a video for in college for an assignment.

Check out my red Nike Hyperflights.

Last basketball shoes I had:

Nike Air Flight '95... Made for Jason Kidd
They were re-released sometime last year. I got them real cheap
($30 or so on sale from $90 on Black Friday)

They lasted about two months before I couldn't wear them anymore. They shredded up my ankles, the in sole tore away from the shoe, cloth around the ankles ripped releasing a metallic object that dug into my ankles, etc.

I will say I jumped higher and had more traction in these shoes than any other shoes I've ever owned... but the good qualities only lasted a few weeks. I kept playing in them, I thought maybe I just needed to break them in, until they made my ankles bleed.

I've been playing in running shoes since like February now, helps me run faster but I have terrible traction and support in them.

I'm buying some new bball shoes tomorrow with the birthday cash I got today. I plan on finding a good cheap pair again, hopefully I find a diamond in the rough that is cheap basketball shoes. I'll let you guys know what I end up getting later.

NICE! I was literally going to buy these next Friday with my next paycheck off ebay for 55 bucks. Little bummed out they don't last long cuz it's a good looking shoe, but pumped to save teh cash.

I was contemplating getting the old Penny 2's also, anyone got experience with em?

Rockin the 14's.  Best basketball shoe I've ever owned.  This is my 2nd pair.
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

I'm rockin this pair (exact color scheme) of Nike Hyperdunks that i bought last summer:

Review:  Initially i wasn't a huge fan because the insole would slide and bunch up while i was playing, which was very aggrivating.  However, now that they've broken in completely i have no issues with them.  They are EXTREMELY light and are a very snug fit.  Although they've scuffed up there have been no structural/wear and tear issues.  I normally buy a new pair once a year but i'm letting this pair ride out the summer.

I would certainly reccommend them to anyone.

I've been rockin' Tony Parker's new kicks, the Nike Zoom FlightClub, except in black and red cuz those are my school's colors:

I usually wear all-black when I play so the shoes are a nice touch. I've been rockin a black long-sleeve tee w/ a red Arsenal (futbol club) wrist-band underneath on my right wrist that you can only see when I shoot a jay w/ my right arm. I also play soccer and collect Mercurial Vapors (black and yellow).

An interesting note, Parker was NBA Finals MVP in '07 when the Spurs beat the Cavs in 4 games...

Almost got those Penny2's the other day... Solid looking shoe.

Ended up getting the Nike Overplay IV's... only 30 bucks.

Nothing special... but I tried on a few pairs and these just fit my foot perfectly, extremely comfortable. I'll play in them this weekend.

I don't wear Nike -- they had a deal with our high school team and had to send me 4 pairs of shoes over the course of the season because they kept wearing out.

So -- since then I've always worn Converse.  I'm currently wearing these for my Rec league career. :)

Despite my hate for LeBron James, I have to give him credit for his shoes. I have owned 3 different pairs and they have all been very comfortable and supportive shoes. I love them
I have a pair of LeBron's shoes for when I play indoors. I have no idea what they are called.

I wear some generic Nike's when I play outdoors though.

Well I'm using Zoom Kobe III. I really like this shoe. It is my favorite basketball shoe to play in from Nike since the Air Zoom Generation. It molds to my foot perfectly and almost feels like a sock. The ankle support is great also.

I like the return of this sole out of Adidas lately. Absolutely loved them when they were rolling them out in the late 90's

I rock the original Jordan CP3's, he's my favorite non-Celtic point guard ;)

Mine have the Hornet Yellow trim on them but I couldn't find a photo with that.
