Davis and Sheed look at a Cav wrong and its a foul.

Pierce gets hammered, nothing.  ::)

What a joke.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Holding the Cavs to below 40% shooting. We hold them below 45% for the game and I like our chances.

LeBron's only taken 4 field goals, and he's going to turn it on in the 2nd half...but if the C's can keep playing good defense on everyone else, we should have a good shot at taking this.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Whoever signed up for the Stockton says "Rondo still has no points" drinking game is passed out somewhere by now.

I'm *so* happy I get to finally watch a game! And it's a close one too! I'm scared though. Bron *will* start shooting well at some point, and I'm not too sure about Rajon getting hot again :( Let's hope we get this, and go on to win the series in Boston. That'd be darn sweet.

Though I'm very afraid of the Magic, gotta add that :x

i dont understand how james is allowed to lower his shoulder and just run through people like it is football and then get the foul called. it is just bad to allow him to do that

Pretty good first half of basketball. Our half-court D is fantastic. Even when they score, they're having to make multiple adjustments and hit tough shots. LBJ struggles to penetrate beyond the foul line if we're set properly. If we keep that level of defensive intensity up, I like our chances. Agree on how silly it was to trap.

Rondo got some good rest in the second quarter and we picked up ground. He should be able to go 22-24 minutes in the second half.

KG murdering them in the post and on the face-up jumper - love it. And Pierce! A bit wild here and there but so encouraging to see him come out and play well, with energy.

This is also the best game we've seen as far as officiating goes. Really impressed with some of the calls and no-calls.

Key to winning: run off our defense and keep Lebron out of transition.

Gotta say that Cleveland is playing pretty well. A lot of teams would be lucky to have 30 points considering the D we're playing.

defense is great...cavs only getting points off a scramble offense or lucky put backs. offense needs to not go into hero mode where 1 guy tries to do it all. gotta keep playing through KG and get rondo into the lane

The fouls were called pretty evenly in the first half. Now watch the refs go to work in the 2nd.

I agree with Kenny the Jet. The Cleveland crowd looks terrified. They look like they are having Orlando flashbacks. It's crazy.

One thing I like about the Boston crowd is when the team is having an offensive lull and the crowd sort of ups their level with that "you can do it" noise. That didn't happen in the Q.
