I didn't see Cousy, but that is the best playoff performance I've ever seen from a Celtic pg. The guy is a star.

Now, bring it that way Tuesday night. Wouldn't surprise me to see them put James on him.

Just incredible. Seriously, what a player!

He has been the defining factor of our team this series. Without him we're done.

  • So what if we don't win 73 - the ring's the thing
He did something tonight that very few are capable of - ventured into Larry Bird territory. What a magnificent performance - the Cavs have had no answer for him at all.

Maybe one of the greatest single game playoff performances I have ever seen by any Celtic in my lifetime.

If ESPN, ABC and TNT doesn't start marketing him on a Chris Paul superstar basis, they will be missing the boat.

He is without a doubt the best point guard playing in the playoffs over the last three years.

You can have your regular season All-NBA PGs. I'll take the PG that plays the like best PG in the league in the playoffs.

And HIS NAME , my friends, is Rajon Rondo!!!

Amazing performance. Beyond the triple double, the guy just played 46 minutes (!!) and didn't look tired. He got all the big plays in the 4th, the passes, the rebounds, the shots, the good decisions... amazing. And the MVP chants gave me goosebumps!

I love Rondo, I hope the national media understand what kind of unique player he is!

It's amazing how he finds another gear in the playoffs - he played so well all season long, but he def turned it up another notch somehow.

With averaging a near triple double in last season's playoffs and the way he played this year, he's quickly establishing himself as one of the best playoff performers in the league.

Seriously, I mean even at the $9million rate he would make next year he would be underpaid. At the $2 million he's getting this year, he's a steal.

We got a bargain on this kid ... I'm glad we signed him when we did, because he would have been commanding a much bigger salary after these playoffs. I've been singing this guy's praises for a long time, but it's nice to see the rest of the world finally beginning to appreciate him. It is soooooooooo much fun watching basketball being played like this, especially by one of our own! Love Rondo ... always have, always will ... Rage against the Cleveland machine!!

Great job, kid ... great job!

Good game for him, but 9 of 21 shooting. 11 of 16 from the line...

Not very efficient, but manageable.

He has to be very careful here, his inefficiency here could've been quite disastrous, but at least he was moving the ball quite well overall.

His rebounding was awesome though and unless I missed something, good defense. Was a bit distracted at times with Mother's Day and all.

But I've liked what I've seen from him in the playoffs. Quite a step-up from the previous two years.
