Well, hope this works well for you. Stuff like this is why I stay away from Craiglist. Not to mention they really don't sell the cheap kind of tickets...or at least, I haven't found any.
That said....if your husband really talked this out with the guy the way you said he did, as in, you did get surefire assurance that the tickets were $100 per ticket and not $200 per ticket, then I feel like that's enough to say this guy's trying to scam or at least scare the heck out of you for more cash. I mean, personally, I think three phone calls + a meetup in person is a lotta conversation to then still have misunderstandings on the ticket prices once it was time for you to finally get them. Follow that up with having the original receipt...and yeah, maybe the guy can't count!

If you do infact have hard tickets, yeah, like everyone else said, get their early, if security turns you down then explain the situation, and yeah...there is always StubHub/Ace Tickets/etc. I suppose if you still wanna go. And yeah, fat chance it happens, but hopefully the guy refunds you.
