I'm not for hurting anyone intentionally, but I have to say one of the huge disappointments of this series so far is that nobody has come close to fouling Lebron hard even one time.  In that first game the entire flow changed when Shaq leveled Rondo to the floor.  Rondo became much less aggressive after that.  I was hoping we would send a message right back and on the next play Lebron drove to the hoop, but...nothing.  And we're now going into game 4 without even one message of a foul being delivered.

Times have changed in the NBA since the McNasty and McFilthy Days.

What Kevin McHale, in his greatness , did to Kurt Rambis that time over 20 years ago would get him a 10-game suspension now.

The mild-mannered Chief even took out Bill Laimbeer in a fit of anger, too. Right across the chest and down to the hardwood, in that Detroit series back in the day.

And the wonderful thing about both of these altercations is that both Bill and Kurt got up afterwards - pride hurt somewhat, but not body.

As I look at Lebron, the man could definitely take some punishment. He is built like Karl Malone. I saw his "Block" on Glen Davis last night, and he got enough of Glen on that play to knock a 290 pound man down. He is obviously physical with us, but any of the players touch him and the whistle blows.

I certainly don't advocate hurting the man, but The Celtics must be allowed to get physical with him.

Unfortunately, with the way the games have been reffed, I don't see that happening - yet.

If we get a fairly-reffed game (Please God ), we won't even have to think about a Flagrant Two.

As I think more about it - Lebron may be Bigger than Karl Malone was..Wow.

Karl was listed at 6'9" and 260. Lebron's Unofficial Weight is what 270? At 6'8"?

The Celtics need to take a Note from the James Posey Booklet.

That man had a gift - he would Foul his opponents After the whistle..just a push or shove here or there. He would do it in a way to get under the opponents' skin and they couldn't do anything about it, either.

And he wouldn't do it often. He was a Wiley veteran - he knew just when to use that ploy.
