Had no puter access during the game.

WOW!!!

Rondo is now a certified superstar in this league. Period. End of story. No debate taken because there really shouldn't be any.

In the pat myself on the back aspect of blogging, I called this kids greatness during his rookie year. Me and MikeDfromNP were two against the world sometimes talking about the unlimited potential Rondo had. I wish Mike still bogged here to share this with me.

Also, my sincere apologies to Tony Allen over the years. I never thought you could change your game to become the off the bench presence you were in this game. You drove LeBaby nuts. You ran the floor. You took it to the whole. You played intelligent, hard nosed defense. If Rondo was the star of the game, then you won the night's Tommy Award.

Rasheed has come to play in two games in the playoffs and in both games the Celtics beat the best team in the league. Keep that up Rasheed and I might almost be able to forgive your regular season. Don't get me wrong, it won't be forgotten as I hope Danny trades you away. But I might be able to forgive you if we can take these suckas.

Props on calling Rondo.  I'll call props for having faith in Tony.  That combo flat out clobbered the Cavs defense in transition.

That said, I always thought Danny was in love with Rondo for a reason.  But after today I'm thinking Rondo may be "one for the ages" good.  The trade for Rondo may be the steal of our young century.

Tonny Allen was huge today. This season he's proving how good he can be.

While I don't think he's threatening to become an all-star, I do wonder if he'll be piece number 3 of our post Paul-Kevin-Ray future.

I'd say he's earned it.

The D showed up bigtime tonight. The Celts also looked a lot more determined and focused after the game 3 debacle. Cleveland started the game hot but the C's held on and turned it around. We out-rebounded the Cavs and held them to zero second chance points! Just a beautiful dominating performance on both ends of the court.

The fact that Rondo couldn't even make the All-NBA 3rd team is pathetic. I understand that he was the leading vote getter on the outside looking in... but come on. Rondo should have been in over somebody.

Celtics made only 1 3 pointer today and won by 10....plus 11 or 12 missed FTs...really this game wasn't even that close

Amen.  I think the C's have demonstrated that they can be the better team if and when they want to be.

My Celtics just gave me a wonderful mother's day gift.  Rondo is absolutely incredible.  To be pretty much the shortest guy on the floor and get 18 rebounds.   Bears out what I have always said.  A lot of rebounding is effort, heart and desire.

I was at this game... it was awesome.

Anyone who disparages the crowd it flat out wrong. We were on our feet the whole 4th quarter, making noise. We applauded effort, didn't boo when CLE went on a run, and were as supportive as any crowd you wanna name.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
