Cs won the rebound war, took care of the rock, played good D and got a world-class game from Rondo. They can take this series. One at home, one on Clevs-land. Just need to come out focused. I mean, FOCUSED!

We had what, like 8 turnovers headed into the last couple minutes?  I didn't think we were capable of keeping it under a dozen.

Rondo was all-universe, glad I was able to witness even just on the TV.  Hey Stern, when's he going to start getting the star calls?

And I want to give PP some props, despite the lame game he was all business the last couple minutes and provided some of that necessary backbone.

Had no puter access during the game.

WOW!!!

Rondo is now a certified superstar in this league. Period. End of story. No debate taken because there really shouldn't be any.

In the pat myself on the back aspect of blogging, I called this kids greatness during his rookie year. Me and MikeDfromNP were two against the world sometimes talking about the unlimited potential Rondo had. I wish Mike still bogged here to share this with me.

Also, my sincere apologies to Tony Allen over the years. I never thought you could change your game to become the off the bench presence you were in this game. You drove LeBaby nuts. You ran the floor. You took it to the whole. You played intelligent, hard nosed defense. If Rondo was the star of the game, then you won the night's Tommy Award.

Rasheed has come to play in two games in the playoffs and in both games the Celtics beat the best team in the league. Keep that up Rasheed and I might almost be able to forgive your regular season. Don't get me wrong, it won't be forgotten as I hope Danny trades you away. But I might be able to forgive you if we can take these suckas.

The season was on the line and we could have collapsed in the 4th but we showed heart and determination. Rondo and TA simply wouldn't let us lose tonight. Rondo owned the game AND the 4th quarter, he played 46 minutes and didn't look tired, crazy! This kid is something else.

2-2 going back to Cleveland, knowing we play better on the road and will have another home game anyway... I feel good.

TP's everybody, awesome win!!

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

  • It's not hard to work hard.

Tonny Allen was huge today. This season he's proving how good he can be.

Well said Nick.

Great game from Rondo, to say the least. TA was excellent. I love the energy he and Rondo provide when playing together. Having a runner/slasher in there with RR really helps.

Baby brought good energy, Perk great D, Ray shot well when we really needed it. The running game was huge. PP struggled but came through in the final minutes and a big dunk. Just excellent all around play.

TP's for all. Big win. 2-2 going back to Cleveland.
