OK, it's definitely over... kudos to the Cavs for taking it to us. Let's rest the starters and prepare for game 4.

The question is, what game is tougher to watch.

The home loss against the New Jersey Nets where we were down by around 10 virtually all night?

Or this home loss against a good Cavs team in a game 3 situation where we just blew them out on their own home floor one game before.

Literally EVERYTHING is going the Cavs way...calls, rebounds, shots.

Pierce And Ray doing nothing. At least move, do something

It's another one of those games when Pierce looks like he is ready for retirement.

It's a real worry. He's now had three games in a row where he's had minimal impact on the game offensively. We need to remember this increasingly frequent kind of night when we're all excited about re-signing him at $10-12M per year.

this is just brutal
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

This game isn't the series... but it's very disappointing that we're giving home court right back.

  • Thank you Eddie!
What are the Cavs shooting, like 75% from the field?  Can't win when that happens.

I just told my 6 year old, who is a bit despondant that the Celtics are getting rolled, that if the Celtics win I will buy him a space ship and take him to Venus. So, yeah, this game is over ;-)

But game 4 is NOT over. Celtics can very well go back to Cleveland 2-2.

The Big Three have combined for 30 points on 12-28 shooting + 5-8 from the FT line.

A true shooting percentage of 48%.

The rest of the team has 28 points on 12-24 shooting and 3-5 shooting from the line.

I think I'm going to have to cover my eyes and peek through my fingers to watch the game. This is just brutal. But on the bright side we won't have to hear about the elbow anymore.

I think I'm going to have to cover my eyes and peek through my fingers just to watch this thread.  [dang it] folks, we are C's fans.  Most of us, anyway.  Yeah, we are playing poorly, but trust me, everyone on the darned thread can see it.  Don't rub it in!  Some of us want to see something, anything, positive that might still happen.

Well, it seems like we fixed the turnover problem.

Can we go back to turning it over on our normal way-too-high rate again? We might win :p

Cleveland now with an offensive efficiency score of 150.9 points per 100 possessions + an eFG% of 66%. Unreal.

On the road yes. The "home" court is like a morgue!
